TSI systems (Twin Sine Inverter) — double sine wave inverters — both input and output pure sine wave in some way are similar to modular True-on-Line UPS however they don’t have own batttery accumulators but base on 48 VDC telecom voltage as back-up power in case of AC power supply failure. The inverter is designed to work from 230 VAC and 48 VDC sources through AC/AC and DC/AC conversions. In standard the modules work as 230 VAC — 230 VAC voltage converter with no single point of failure, input current and output voltage pure sine wave. In case of AC power loss they start to convert uninterruptibly 48 VDC voltage to 230 VAC voltage.

The modules operate on AC voltage. There is no need to use external static bypass switches as there is a built-in static switch function. TSI technology allows therefore for making systems smaller (significantly reducing the size — numer of rectifiers used), more reliable and easily expandable.

The TSI systems with EPC modeEnhanced Power Conversion” — are characterised by 95% efficency (online mode) and 91% (on battery) what is essential for large power needs systems where any energy loss plays a role.
